Testimonials

  • I became a client of Dr Marilyn Weber's when she began her practice at Sea Girt Animal hospital. I was always impressed by her knowledge and compassion. She guided me through many crisis with my pets throughout the years and for that I will always be grateful. In addition to Dr Weber, there was her staff. The front line people who answered the phone, consoled you when the news is bad, were genuinely happy for you when the news was good. When Dr Weber stopped seeing patients that positive atmosphere never changed. (although we all missed seeing her, the pets included) The same warm smiles greeted us as we signed in and the new Doctors were all world class. As the latest transition occurred, it was done professionally and with the patients well-being in mind. I am confident that my pets are in the best hands at Sea Girt Animal Hospital.

Testimonials

There is no better way to learn more about our services and staff than through the words of the pet lovers we serve. Please take a moment to read what others are saying about Sea Girt Animal Hospital.

The Sea Girt Animal Hospital has been a long time supporter of the Jersey Shore Animal Center and our mission to rescue and care for unwanted, abused, sick and abandoned animals.  For many years, Dr. Marilyn Weber, Dr. Marisa Sabia, and the staff provided several free spay/neuter procedures per month for our shelter animals in need, including domestic rabbits that had been surrendered to the JSAC. Starting with the front desk staff, you are welcomed in a professional manner and the medical care rendered is second to none. With the retirement of our friend Dr. Weber, the shelter lost a superb colleague and friend; however we were thrilled to find out that the new doctor’s, Dr. Velazquez and Dr. Yurkus, are still supportive of our shelter. Thanks to their caring compassion we will be using Sea Girt Animal Hospital for several procedures per month.

I have been a client at Sea Girt Animal Hospital since 1988. For many years, I was fortunate enough to have my beloved pets cared for by the very dedicated Dr. Marilyn Weber. She not only cared for our pets, but advised me on how raise them and when that dreaded time came at the end of their lives, she was there to cry with us.

SGAH is one of the best animal hospitals  in the state of New Jersey. Wag On Inn Rescue Group has many of its animals cared for by this well- known institution. The loving, kind staff, as well as excellent and up to date care given to the dogs and cats can not be topped. Wag On Inn Rescue Group recommends Sea Girt Animal Hospital highly and without reservations.

My husband and I have been bringing our dogs to Sea Girt Animal Hospital since 2000 and are still going.  We have tried others but SGAH has compassion, understanding, and caring.  All the doctors and staff are warm, caring, gentle and courteous.  At one time we had 6 abused and abandoned dogs, and they took superb care of all.  We have 3 dogs now and take them to SGAH for excellent care.  There are animal hospitals closer to us but we travel at least 45 minutes for our pets to go to Sea Girt Animal Hospital.

I moved to Manasquan 14 years ago and was reluctant to change veterinarians for my dog. When the trip back to Toms River to our veterinarian became too much, I decided to give SGAH a try and so, for 14 years, they have cared for my dog(s) and cat with compassion and expertise. The veterinarians are extremely competent and knowledgeable. I have the utmost confidence in their veterinarians, vet techs and their staff. Maybe I am prejudiced because they have also been so incredibly giving to a local animal rescue group that I fostered puppies for. I am truly "at home" when I walk into the office with my own pet or one that I am fostering (and I have certainly walked through those doors enough that this is like a second home to me). Thanks Sea Girt Animal Hospital for your unwavering commitment to animals and their owners. Thanks for being so warm and kind.

SGAH is the best place to bring your pet if you are looking for the best veterinary care in Monmouth/Ocean County. As a former employee and client I have seen first hand the courtesy, caring and professionalism of the entire staff from receptionists to management. Dr. Sabia was a life saver when I lost all three of my elderly pets last year. If you are in need of a good vet don't hesitate to call SGAH. They are the best!

I've been bringing my dogs to SGAH for over 10 years. When I walk in there, I feel like I am family. The front office staff remembers not only my name, but also my dogs'. The technicians are compassionate and understanding, especially of my special needs pups. Dr. Sabia always provides all of the treatment options available and I never feel rushed or overlooked. I can't say enough good things about this office and the entire staff.

What can I say about the care and attention from the staff at Sea Girt Animal Hospital. I traveled from East Brunswick with my wonderful dog Nikki for years. Having met the staff and saw the love and dedication to my pet, it was a "no Brainer" to make the trip where I knew my pet was special. When my dog got ill, the thoughtfulness and compassion was there not only for Nikki but for me and my family as well. How great to go to a place where there is true dedication. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

My “furbabies” have been patients at the Sea Girt Animal Hospital for several years. My dogs are my children and yes, I am one of those fanatical rescue-dog people! I insist on nothing but the best for my boys. In short, Dr. Sabia and her staff have gone above and beyond to care for my dogs over the years. I have three rescue dogs and, one in particular, has many psychological and physical issues after having been abused as a puppy. The doctor, and her staff, make him (and me) feel so comfortable when treating him.

I have had the good fortune of a being a client of Sea Girt Animal Hospital for the past 14 years. In fact, since we moved back to Jersey City several years ago, we continue to travel back to the shore to have our pets seen by the SGAH staff.  From the receptionists to the doctors the care my pets receive is loving, complete and effective.  I recommend SGAH to anyone who craves the best in care for their pets.
