Testimonials

  • I moved to Manasquan 14 years ago and was reluctant to change veterinarians for my dog. When the trip back to Toms River to our veterinarian became too much, I decided to give SGAH a try and so, for 14 years, they have cared for my dog(s) and cat with compassion and expertise. The veterinarians are extremely competent and knowledgeable. I have the utmost confidence in their veterinarians, vet techs and their staff. Maybe I am prejudiced because they have also been so incredibly giving to a local animal rescue group that I fostered puppies for. I am truly "at home" when I walk into the office with my own pet or one that I am fostering (and I have certainly walked through those doors enough that this is like a second home to me). Thanks Sea Girt Animal Hospital for your unwavering commitment to animals and their owners. Thanks for being so warm and kind.

  • My “furbabies” have been patients at the Sea Girt Animal Hospital for several years. My dogs are my children and yes, I am one of those fanatical rescue-dog people! I insist on nothing but the best for my boys. In short, Dr. Sabia and her staff have gone above and beyond to care for my dogs over the years. I have three rescue dogs and, one in particular, has many psychological and physical issues after having been abused as a puppy. The doctor, and her staff, make him (and me) feel so comfortable when treating him.

More than likely you visit the doctor and/or dentist at least once a year. Are you doing the same for your pet? Because cats and dogs age quicker than us, taking them to the veterinary hospital once a year is like you going once in five to seven years!

Sea Girt Animal Hospital is concerned about your indoor cats. Did you know your indoor cat is just as likely to develop serious medication conditions as are outdoor cats?

An allergy is a state of over-reactivity or hypersensitivity of the immune system to a particular substance called an allergen. Most allergens are proteins.

Pets and parents alike look forward to spending the long, sunny days of summer outdoors, but being overeager in hot weather can spell danger, warn ASPCA experts.

We know that your pet is very important to you. A companion, a friend, and in a real sense a member of your family. In order to reduce the number of animals ending up in shelters or being euthanized, we recommend all cats and dogs be neutered.

Testimonials

  • I have been a client at Sea Girt Animal Hospital since 1988. For many years, I was fortunate enough to have my beloved pets cared for by the very dedicated Dr. Marilyn Weber. She not only cared for our pets, but advised me on how raise them and when that dreaded time came at the end of their lives, she was there to cry with us.
