Testimonials

  • I've been bringing my dogs to SGAH for over 10 years. When I walk in there, I feel like I am family. The front office staff remembers not only my name, but also my dogs'. The technicians are compassionate and understanding, especially of my special needs pups. Dr. Sabia always provides all of the treatment options available and I never feel rushed or overlooked. I can't say enough good things about this office and the entire staff.

  • SGAH is the best place to bring your pet if you are looking for the best veterinary care in Monmouth/Ocean County. As a former employee and client I have seen first hand the courtesy, caring and professionalism of the entire staff from receptionists to management. Dr. Sabia was a life saver when I lost all three of my elderly pets last year. If you are in need of a good vet don't hesitate to call SGAH. They are the best!

Shannon Marini

Shannon Marini

Shannon began her employment as a receptionist at SGAH in 2003. She loves coming to work to see all the animals and loves having a job that allows her to help people care for their pets. She has 3 pets of her own; 2 cats, Colin and Kairi, adopted from Jersey Shore Animal Center, and a Rat Terrier/Chiahuahua mix named Piper that she rescued through Wag On Inn. She loves to foster animals and has helped many dogs and cats find their forever homes.

Lynn Herbert

Lynn Herbert

Lynn joined our technician staff in January of 2004. At that time she had one dog. Since then she has rescued “Pogo” 2 ½ year old Miniature Pinscher from euthanasia as well as 2 cats rescued as kittens and “Lulu”, a dog adopted from Jersey Shore Animal Center. Lynn cross-trained in 2008 and, although she is still a technician part time, she primarily is a receptionist. Lynn thinks Sea Girt Animal Hospital is a great place to work and plans to be here forever.

Christine Krug

Christine Krug

Christine, a technician at Sea Girt Animal Hospital since 2007, has been working as a veterinary technician since 1998. She really enjoys the work she does and is especially fond of her duties in surgery, dentistry, monitoring anesthesia, phlebotomy and assisting in outpatient visits. She’s very excited that we’ve recently incorporated digital technology in radiography. Christine’s pet family includes Baki, an American Bulldog.

Megan Mulvey

Megan Mulvey

Megan Mulvey began her employment with us in September of 2013, joining us with two years of previous vet tech experience. She graduated Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA in 2011 with a bachelor degree in biology, pre-professional studies. Megan fostered for Rescue University, a rescue group affiliated with the college. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and especially her pit/shepherd mix Booker who is a foster fail who doesn't know he's not human. She also has two cats, Skitz and Amaretto; and a rabbit, Malibu.

Terri Hughes

Terri Hughes

Terri has been grooming cats and dogs since 2007. She studied and graduated from the Nash Academy in Lexington, Kentucky. She was certified by Sasha Reiss, a renowned poodle expert. Terri specializes in poodle and bichon trims, but she excels with any breed. Terri is a former artist and designer, and enjoys working in her garden.

Testimonials

  • My “furbabies” have been patients at the Sea Girt Animal Hospital for several years. My dogs are my children and yes, I am one of those fanatical rescue-dog people! I insist on nothing but the best for my boys. In short, Dr. Sabia and her staff have gone above and beyond to care for my dogs over the years. I have three rescue dogs and, one in particular, has many psychological and physical issues after having been abused as a puppy. The doctor, and her staff, make him (and me) feel so comfortable when treating him.
